This blog is an initiative of Marc Puig Boltas and Judith Mas where we will publish the story of our trip sailing around the world . In 2009 we embarked on the Ju, our 42-foot boat. We have been more than a year living aboard in Barcelona continuing our earth life, but something substantial had changed. Then we decided to cast off, to break with our past life in the city and begin to live browsing. We become nomads. Our home is our sailboat. We travel the world, trying to live in harmony with nature, to experience different cultures, feel the adventure of the sea, the perennial thrill of discovery, following the defeat of those explorers that came before us the world’s oceans. We are citizens of the Sea, because the sea is where we believe we can be free and find that intensity that makes us feel alive. For these reasons we started this Facebook group: No queremos morir sin dar la vuelta al mundo en velero (I don’t want to die without going around the world in sailboat), which has allowed us to keep in touch with many of you since that already distant time, at least this is how we feel, we sailed from Barcelona and we try to convert our dream into reality. .

This blog will try to structure the story of our trip. We help you keep a logbook in which we narrate our experiences as Citizens of the sea and share with those whom it may concern. Also try using it as a platform to interact with other citizens of the Sea, with other transmundistas to exchange experiences and knowledge, and with those people who may be interested in becoming citizens of the Sea for a while. In the past we did charters, which allowed us to meet many interesting people and live great moments.
